Why was the loss to Oregon so predictable? I didn't see the loss to Arizona, but from the articles and comments it looked just like this game. Seems stunning that a Cardinal team could be guilty of such a lackluster effort playing on national television. When the team has the possibility of moving up to a four seed in the NCAA tournament field and hosting the first and second round games, and then they come out and stink up the Oregon gym like they did. Amazing. I wonder what goes through their minds when they watch the film of those last two games. When Brittany came off the bench to try to lift the starters out of their lethargy, she was brilliant in showing the level of effort it takes to win. Then she's made a starter and plays like the starters were playing when she came to their rescue. I've got a lot more questions than answers. Amber's shown so much heart in winning a dozen games I can remember, then plays like she did yesterday. I don't get it. Like she'd rather be someplace else.
